A great Greek restaurant that you'll find hard placed to find better value for money. Highly recommended!! Tucked away near Camden is this beauty - Andy's Greek Taverna and it is the perfect spot for some Greek food. They've got a large menu full of traditional Greek food and restaurant specials. There is also regional wine and spirits too. We had a great 5x course starter (see pic), and then on main we had Swordfish and a kebab. Highly recommended, a must if you're in the area. Do book in advance too.

Where to start with Andy’s. It’s a proper institution and I love how it’s family run. The trio of dips to start served with bread was very good. The tsaziki was nice and thick, and strong with garlic. The tarama was lightly fishy and creamy. It was dyed pink (not florescent) which it’s a pet hate of mine. The pearly colour of tarama is beautiful in its own right. The kleftiko was a standout main. The potatoes were cooked in the juices and were cinanmmony. The lamb souvlaki was delicious. The moussaka was very average, however. Heavy on the cheese sauce which was quite bland and the meat was flavourless. I wouldn’t order this again. The big let down of the evening for me was the service. I felt like I was constantly trying to get their attention. The dips arrived 30mins after we ordered. They forgot the chips with the main. Good service is when you anticipate what the customer wants and I felt that was the complete opposite here. We sat in the main part of the restaurant and I would recommend this. The added side one has no atmosphere

Although the Greek restaurant had a good location, the food was only okay. It doesn't compare to the amazing food I tried in Athens. The atmosphere was decent, but I don’t think I will visit this restaurant again; it might be good for others.

This is a casual restaurant serving great greek cuisine. The portions are generous, one moussaka is enough for two people with starters. The food is authentic and very tasty. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Highly recommended

Early evening meal. A very popular restaurant and booking is essential. There food choices for all tastes. Service was excellent despite being very busy. We would definitely return when back in the area.

Lively Greek restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Authentic and varied menu, good options for vegetarians. The food was all delicious - you can taste the olive oil and lemon, and it was freshly prepared. The service was very good, and they don’t rush you. They were helpful and friendly. I would return to try other things on the menu! They have set menus as well which seem good.

Great food, very reasonable prices. The mixed grill was delicious. The owner is also very friendly, and gave us a round of shots on the house! Great option for a non touristy restaurant in Camden.
